What is this game?

Your Supergroup is a fantasy rock draft game! Choose musicians from real rock bands across the decades and build a five-person lineup: your supergroup.

After five picks, the game simulates your band's world tour and calculates how successful it was based on several factors (see details below). The money your tour earns is your score!

Your ultimate goal is a $1 billion world tour!

What do I do each round?

There are five rounds, and each round has three steps:

1. Spin the wheel to land on a decade.
2. Choose a band. Two bands appear, and you pick one.
3. Pick a musician. From the band you chose, select one musician to fill an open role in your lineup: Lead Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, or Other. Each role can only be filled once.

After five rounds, you'll have your complete five-person supergroup!

How is my tour scored?

The simulation engine calculates your tour earnings based on five key factors. Each represents a different aspect of your band, and your lineup needs to be strong across all of them to achieve a high score.

Individual musicians' ratings stay hidden. You'll see Musical Skill, Songwriting, Showmanship, and Fame grow on the play screen as you draft. Chemistry between the five musicians matters too. Here's what each factor represents:

1. Musical Skill: Playing, singing, and musical ability. How strong they are as instrumentalists and vocalists: technique, tone, timing, and the gifts that make them exceptional.
2. Songwriting: Melodies, lyrics, and composition. How well they create great songs — memorable melodies, meaningful lyrics, and compelling musical parts.
3. Showmanship: Charisma, stage presence, and stamina. How well they command the stage, engage the audience, and deliver an exciting live performance night after night.
4. Fame: Recognition, popularity, and star power. How famous and well-known they are, and how much their name can attract a large audience to the shows.
5. Teamwork / Chemistry: Chemistry and compatibility. How naturally the five musicians work together as one band, combining their strengths to create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Every factor matters. A band that's excellent in one area can still earn a lower score if it's weak in another.

Why I can't see musician scores?

We keep individual musicians' scores and abilities hidden to keep the focus on the fun of building a band, rather than optimizing numbers. This isn't a math problem with one right answer.

What you can see while drafting is Musical Skill, Songwriting, Showmanship, and Fame growing together — not each person’s hidden rating. Chemistry between members matters too.

Building a strong Supergroup takes a mix of rock knowledge, instinct, and a little luck!

What counts as winning?

It depends on the game mode:

• Solo: Your challenge is to reach a $1 billion world tour.
• 1v1: The player whose tour earns more money wins.

Why play again?

Every run offers new choices and a chance to build a different lineup. Experiment with different combinations, see how they perform, and try to beat your best score!

Challenge a friend

When your tour is over, share your result card or link with a friend. They can see your lineup and try to beat your tour earnings.
